The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is a statutory body established under the Jaipur Development Authority Act 1982 (Act. 25) to oversee the urban development of Jaipur. Operating under the Department of Urban Development and Housing, Government of Rajasthan, the JDA is tasked with planning and facilitating the holistic and inclusive growth of Jaipur, which now encompasses 725 villages over an area of 3000 square kilometers.

Empowered to build essential infrastructure, the JDA aims to meet the needs of Jaipur's rapidly growing population and manage the city's expansion.
